There has been a tremendous push for people to have more capabilities from their phone while they are on the go. One of the newest additions to cell phones is having a projector on the phone. Is this a feature you want, or does it seem like a waste? Why do YOU think that many companies are pushing pico projectors for cellphones and what is the big deal about showing content on your phone on a flat surface? Tell me your opinion. On December 8th, 2009 the new website www.vevo.com launched, which is a video on-demand service for only music videos. On Vevo you get access to over 20,000 High Quality videos, interviews, behind the scenes and live performances from all music companies, including Universal and Sony Records (WHO ARE NOT ON YOUTUBE). Why didn’t MTV start this YEARS AGO? Will this bring interest to vevo.com or will people still search YouTube when it is so much easier to get ONLY music videos on vevo? Give me your opinion. There has been a big push for years now to provide people with more services inside their car. Many car companies have offered navigation, but Ford has chosen to go a step further. Ford has chosed to release MyFord, which mixes their Sync offering from 2008 with the first ever in car wireless network. Even though it may not be needed, it may be wanted. Why would people want an in car wireless network in the car? Isn’t this just another distraction? Why or why not is this a good thing for inside your car? People want devices nowadays that do more than one thing. When it seems like people ONLY have cellphones because they got rid of their house phones these days, why should people get a NEW HOUSE PHONE and switch to new technologies like this NEW wireless wi-fi/bluetooth enabled video phone for their house? Or maybe they shouldn’t? Tell me your opinion. (You must write a paragraph of AT LEAST 8 sentences or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

CES 2010 unveiled a revolutionary item: The Boxee Box. Boxee gives users a single browser to access all the photos, video and music on their computer hard drives, along with a wide range of television shows, movies and songs from sites like Hulu, NetFlix, YouTube, CNN.com and CBS.com and show them DIRECTLY ON YOUR TV. Will a device like this give people what they want; an opportunity to get rid of their cable or satellite and watch what they want on the channels they want ON-DEMAND? Or will people hold on to their cable or satellite services because it’s too much of a hassle to connect a computer to your TV? (You must write 8 sentences or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

Last week I showed you the Burj Al-Arab, the world’s only 7 star hotel in Dubai. On January 4th, 2010 Dubai opened the Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest skyscraper. It is almost TWICE the size of the last world’s tallest skyscraper. America talked about building the world’s tallest building when the twin towers fell. Why do you think we haven’t built anything to rival this building? Why don’t we have the technology to make a skyscraper like this in America and would we want to? Alot of companies make gadgets that can do more than one thing. Lenovo introduced at the 2010 CES a laptop that is also a tablet. With the Apple iPad coming out March 27th, 2010, will people even want to buy one of these? Does it make more sense to JUST buy a tablet or JUST buy a laptop? Why or why not?
