Two weeks ago I showed you the Burj Al-Arab, the world’s only 7 star hotel in Dubai. Last Tuesday I showed you the Burj Dubai, the world’s tallest skyscraper in Dubai. Last Thursday I showed you the world’s largest indoor ski resort, Ski Dubai in Dubai. AGAIN, in Dubai is the world’s LARGEST man-made island projects, the Palms and The World. Why don’t we have the technology to make island get aways like this in America and would we want to? (You must write 8 sentences or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

WELL CAUSE WE DONT HAVE DA MONEY AND WE LOW ON TECHNOLOGY ANDSOME PEOPLE DONT LIKE IT.
we would want to build one of these but our economy is bad and plus where would we build it? what technology dont we have to build it? how long would it take? would people have money to stay there? see people need to think about these things before they build it go through trouble and then figure out they dont have enough money to build it? it would effect tax it would be expensive
and we just dont have the money to do all of this. and plus its really cool i wish we could do it. it would just be to much money and we just dont have the techologyto do this.

think we are unadvanceddd . so many countries are behindd us in income but so many are ahead when it comes to technology. on top of that America’s people are too busy tryinq to qet out and explore to do anythinq w/ their home country. plus most of america’s people wouldnt pay for technology like that . ndd it doesnt matter if the TOOLs cost mmoney or not . its still a job that we’d have to qeive up taxes for .

i think that we dont have the technology because of we need it to build all the other houses and the we need stuff to live and we need it to make house so that we can live along time i think that we would not be able to get all we want because y use all the money on that building and the techlology when there is people who r homeless and have no cloths on there backs u can just get stufv for them instead of useing it on the buildings that is my statement

first of all, it costs way too much. second of all, we are a bit lazy. and third of all, we dont have a whole lot of room left. the economy is taking a big tole on us for money. so that hurts the cost. some of us just dont like labor. i would do it but some or all others wont. plus we dont have room for another building unless we destroy one. which also costs. so thats why we cant do it.

i think it is because we have not yet found the technolgy. Another reason is that they have different technology than they do. Another reason is that we don’t want to put another why terriost. Another reason is that you can have more people can have reason to visit here.
yes i think we would want to. if we have something like this than we could make our economy better. people would want to come too this island. they may come for vaction which we could charge them. also, we do have the technology to do this. we can do whatever we want pretty much. if we can build cars, spaceships, and other technology to make technology than we have the technology to do this. we could also get a better reputation with this and maybe it will help us.

BC TIME HAS NOT ADVANCED THAT FAR YET. EVEN KNOW THAT TECH IS MOVING FAST THESE DAYS. IT HAS JUST NOT GOT THAT FAR TODAY. AND NO WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT TO BUILD ANYTHING THAT TALL. why wouldnt we want to everyone need a fun get away.i think one of the reasons we cant create such paradise is because 1 money probables cause we already in debt with other countrys and we dont really have the money to waste.2 is because of finding the land i feel that our own funness should have to with taking an animals home so maybe its not ment to be.3 is because of the marterials it will take to do so and doing that would cost money aswell.so to me i dont think we should build a get away at least at this time.but i know that if it was no probablem people would want one built and fast.
I think that we would want one of those but i also think that we dont have the money to build one. But it would be very nice to have one. I also think that if we did have the money to build one that we would have one of the most prettiest one out of everyones.
Yes. I do think we would want to. We dont have enough money. The U.S.A is in debt already. That means we’re already broke. We literally can’t afford to do this. Sure if we already had the technology we woud. But you know you have to have money to buy technology. Or buy the things you need for technology.
well we dont have water to do this so we could not. we dont have the technolgy to do this because we are in a recesion. We owe china trillions of dollars. We have no where to build this. If we did i would go there. If we had it in would live there
I think it is pretty cool. We should have these in the US. Yes it would take money but it’s going to things that will help us people. We are running out of land very QUICKLY!!! What will we do then? We should because they also have cool designs. I like the World/Globe. That looked cool. But thta’s just my opinion.:)
I don’t really know why we don’t have the technology to build stuff like this in America because we have a lot of other high tec stuff here, and yes we would want something like that here in America because A lot of people would want to visit a resort like the 7 star hotel in dubai because it is the best hotel I have ever seen.
We do not have the proper technology because we are in debt and do not have the money to pay for these things. It is a possibillity that people would want it because everyone likes nice things. and then again, some people hate the idea because it may be easier for terroist attacks because an island is surrounded by water and countries can travel by ship to attack the island. So, price and conflict are the main two issues to think about when making a new island.

We would want to because those things are cool. But unfortunatly, we can’t do that. Of course like i explained before, we dont have the people that can do that. We have other people but their companies don’t have the time and money for something big like the man made islands. They don’t have any commitment to do this type of stuff. They probably don’t ever have the time for a 2-5 year project to set aside. Besides there are more important things than giant malls and huge man made islands. Like maybe they could rebuild the World Trade Center. I know that they probably should have started on just that a couple years back but why not start now? That is one of the most important things our country possessed and needed.

I think we have good technology but we don’t have enought money and we don’t feel like it.

Well i think that we are very advanced in technology. But i think that we are behind some other countrys also. I think that there are other people out there that are more advanced. So i think that we are also ahead on income but we are behind some countrys again. But i dont think that we would build an island get away here in the usa. But i think that we could its just simply the matter of doing it. I think that we could afford it but i dont think that our people would actually invest in something like this. But i think that maybe one day we will invest in something like this in the usa.
Its not that we don’t have the technology its that we are too lazy. If america is always talking about how we’re the best country, then why is it that we don’t have better technology then all those other countries. We should on top, we should be #1 in everything if we are always talking about our country like its the greatest one in the world. We should be held up to that expectation. People come to america for freedom and a better lifestyle and a better lifestlye would include better technology.
to me it would be a waste of time. beucase we might abondon it. or we might try to make it not as good. becuase of not that much money. we might get taxed more to get the equipment to do this stuff. But it is going to be a waste of time. if we did it great we have something that sombody else has. what i tinkwe should is make something that will help every body. unless that is a cover up for something else.
