There has been a big push for years now to provide people with more services inside their car. Many car companies have offered navigation, but Ford has chosen to go a step further. Ford has chosed to release MyFord, which mixes their Sync offering from 2008 with the first ever in car wireless network. Even though it may not be needed, it may be wanted. Why would people want an in car wireless network in the car? Isn’t this just another distraction? Why or why not is this a good thing for inside your car? (You must write 8 sentences or you will get ZERO CREDIT)

People may think that this is wonderful to have but it is a disrtaction. With more and more things inside your car, the more things you have to worry about. With all of the things we already have to worry about, why add on to the list? The wireless network inside your car would be more of a distraction to you on the highway. Lets say you just bought one of those cars. You decide to test it on the freeway. So you are flipping through all of the new exciting things in the wireless network when your car drifts right torward the front of a huge semi. And i could guess you would know what would happen next. To prevent things like this from happening, you would need to stick with your original type of car. Not buy one of those huge worryful distractions such as the wireless network.

I think this is a good idea to have something like this because a lot of people will want to buy it and it is good to have because people will use it often and will need it if there is some type of emergency
well i think that this could be realy useful to people in times. But it could also just be another distraction. But i wouldl ove to have this in a car. I think that this is really a step forward in technology. I think that many people would use this. Because it has alot of cool abilitys, one of them is of course the wireless internet. I think that this would be really cool because if u were in like a traffic hold up you could just surf the web in ur car. So this could be really handy in maters like this. So i think that this add on into the car is really gonna get alot of sales

i think that on bad reason is if ur car got stolin what would u do u would have spent ur money one someyhing that got stolin that is not very smart and a good reason is if u cant find ur way arond u can us that stuff to find ur way around and then u can get to the place you need to and i think it would be a good thing if u have stuff in ur car like that because of if u sit there when u drive someone somewhere and u r sitting in the car u will have something to do hen u r just sittin ther doing nothing and sometimes whenu dont use it then that is just a waste of money!!!!!!
lets see, theres drinking and driving, smoking and driving, and texting and drivng. than theres this thing here. its just a distraction really like a cellphone. so there is no use. we will crash or the network could cut off. than what? so its useless! we would die or get hurt and get mad over the network. its really kind of dumb. cool but dumb. thats my opinion.

people are always complaining about the percentage of car accidents. well this wireless thing is not helping. texting made things worse. cops are trying to prevent texting and now ford wants to add another distraction?! that’s wrong its not it can also help you get started on your work if your running late for your job.but there are ways net in a car can be bad.1 is because it can be very destracting to a dirver and cause many crashes.but there are alot of distractions from driver’s. thank you mrs. steed

I think it would be good. One reason why i think it will be good is because you could do more things. Another reason is that you could get confused with the directions and different streets because some streets have the same name

I think this could be good and it could be bad. It could be a distraction like you said. This would be a bad effect. It could make the people not focus on the road. There could be alot of more recks. But on the other hand it could entirtan the passengers. If you were on a road trip you would want something to do would’t you. But this would probably only be agood effect for the passengers, I think.

Well, I can see how people can like the idea because say for instance, you are in your car and a emergency pops off, and you do not have a cellphone, thats where the in car wireless network can come in handy. And just like it can help you, it can also hurt you. People try to text and call people on their cell phones while they are driving and they get distracted. So now, with this new technology, people could also get distracted by this and this could cause more car accidents.
i htink that it would be really cool idea and thts a good idea. a car lik tht its kinda cool. but its bad cuz people would look at the car and inside instead of the road and u might get in a accient. and they just try to inspiere u and just to make u buy tht car or any thing. and some times it ins up bad or something. another wat if lik u start the car and it cacthes on fire cuz of al the electric and techology in the car and the engine is bad.

I think it is bad. It’s just another object to increase car accidents/crashes. It is a distraction. Yes; it looks cool. Yes; people WANT it. But do you really need it? Is it going to HELP you in any way possible? No. That’s why I think it was a bad thing to put in the cars(MYFORD). But everyone has their own opinion.
i think people would want this in their car beacuse it’s cool and you don’t have to press any buttons cause it’s a touch screen.and i think it won’t be a distraction and it would be a good idea because when your just sitting and waiting it gives you something to do

i think that it is cool to have tec like that in the usa and the japen has better tec than us and that is were people make all the cool stuff at like sony and stuff, and the ford could be good with this tec,cbut the new lecoin it can paroll park for you and every thing.
It is a good idea. but these are some thins that is not good about it: 1. the people driving will be messing with the touch screen and the wheel and get distracted by it so they wont want to keep their eyes on the road
2. It will be EXPENSIVE!! i bet that it will take alot of gas because they car will need to run the radio internet etc// etc//
3. It will cause a gain in wrecks and crashes because like i said people will be too busy messing with the radio and stuff
Really what a cool car would be like is one you just punch in the address where you want to go and you dont have to drive just do whatever until you get there or if you just wanna go drvie around and look for something to do yuor just not sure you can just drive it would be a lot cool and easier because people would be able to text and not have to drive unless they want to drive themselves it would ease the amout of crashes and wrecks

Bad Bad Bad. We alrieady have issues with phone distractions. And this wireless network would just be another distraction. And will cause more car crashs than cause by an phone in the car. So I say none yah(its a bad idea)
I think it would be a good idea. It would be good because people get lost all the time and this would help them keep going and be on there way instead of them having to stop for directions every 5 minutes. People are always looking for things that can help them in life. And the navigation system would be a way more advanced way to help people move on. But also it may be a distraction because what if your at a red light and you stop and look at your navigation system. You could possibly lose focus on waiting for that light. And the person behind could wound up crashing into you. So either way in my opinoin would be kinda okay.
i think its better because you don’t have to reach over while your driving to turn the radio up you can just use your stearing wheel to turn it up and change the channel with out reaching over. you can hook your ipod up to the steering whell to and change the songs with your steering wheel.

it would not be good. beuase all you need is a car that starts and gets you to places that you need to go to. you might need a gps to find out where you are going if you never been to that place. but it might be good if you just want it. but it is a watse of technology. you just need a car that gets you places. if you want a car like that just get it, or you just want it.i would stick with a car that jus gets you to places. well i am done.
